Estes Ready to Fly Model Rockets

Estes Ready to Fly model rockets are the simplest way for beginners to get into model rocketry or for anyone to have some model rockets fun without having to worry about constructing the rocket themselves.

There is no model building required for these rockets and it will only take a couple of minutes to assemble the parts and insert an engine. You will need a launch system, engines, starters and recovery wadding and these parts are sold separately.

Estes Ready to Fly Model Rockets Buyers Guide


Estes Ready to Fly model rockets are very easy to assemble and it requires no prior modelling experience or special tools and equipment.

One of the most polar Estes Ready to Fly model rockets is the Color The Sky Range. These are a range of different coloured rockets that stand at a little less than 20 inches tall, and they will reach a height of approximately 500 feet.

Available in a bulk pack, or individually, Estes Colour The Sky rockets simply need the an engine inserted, the fin twisting on, and a shock cord attaching to the nose cone. The whole assembly process takes only a couple of minutes or so.

The recommended engines for a Colour The Sky rocket are B4-2, B6-2 (first flight), B6-4, C6-5. Please check the guidelines on the product information for the recommended Estes engines for other models.
